Die niederländische Erzeugervereinigung Growers United weitet ihre Marktposition bei Gewächshausgemüse aus und kann zu Beginn des Jahres 2021 drei neue Mitglieder begrüßen.
Im Segment Tomaten ist der Zuchtbetrieb P.N. Hoogerbrugge, der auf einer Fläche von 16 ha lose Tomaten und Rispentomaten anbaut, hinzugekommen.
Im Paprika-Bereich ist der Betrieb Personal Vision (7 ha) neues Mitglied im Produzentenverbund, bei Gurken (3 ha Hochdraht) ist das Unternehmen Vof Vitom beigetreten.
„Die drei Unternehmen haben sich für uns entschieden, weil sie die Marktvision von Growers United teilen und an die Kultur der Zusammenarbeit innerhalb der Genossenschaft glauben“, teilt Growers United mit. Die drei Unternehmen hätten bei ihrer Entscheidung auch geschäftliche Vorteile aufgrund der GMO-Zulassung von Growers United gesehen.
